Norske utposter is a book about Norwegian outposts, i.e. small settlements and informal colonies, in eleven different countries around the world. It is written in Norwegian and richly illustrated. The author is happy to ship signed copies anywhere you like.
The book Norske utposter traces the stories of Norwegian migration to the Caribbean, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Hawaii, Galapagos Islands, South Africa, New Zealand, China and the Middle East. It is both a historical narrative and a glimpse into these Norwegian outposts today, including interviews with many descendants of Norwegian migrants.
